1. Overview
MVME162-13 (013) is the mid-range full-interface variant of MVME162 series, positioned between entry-level MVME162-10 and top-tier MVME162-512A. It adopts MC68LC040 25MHz CPU with MMU but no floating-point unit (FPU). Standard configuration includes 4MB shared parity DRAM, unique 512KB battery-backed high-speed SRAM, 1MB onboard Flash firmware, integrated Intel 82596CA 10/100Mbps Ethernet, NCR53C710 narrow SCSI storage controller, dual configurable RS232/422 serial ports, four IndustryPack IP expansion slots, MK48T08 8KB NVRAM & TOD real-time clock, multi-stage hardware watchdog timer, 8-channel front panel status LEDs and manual RESET/ABORT buttons. It is widely deployed as medium-performance auxiliary computing nodes for Honeywell TDC3000 LCN network, historical data pre-processing, signal acquisition and background logic calculation.
